No one reads *anything*

The problem is not that no one reads patents or learns from them; it's that few engineers/scientists read *anything*..

The same thing, sadly, can be said of physicians. By self report, British consultants spend only 15-60 minutes per week reading about their patients' problems, and up to 30% spend none. Evidence-Based Medicine is not only a red-hot topic in medical education, it is considered almost revolutionary.
