All the icons on the folder listings were broken links.

As you found out, that's because we didn't ship resources.root with Frontier 6.1. We released a mainResponder.root update on 01/28/2000 that takes care of the problem: The contents of resources.root have been moved into the mainResponder.resources table in mainResponder.root.
