I read Scripting News today (as I do almost every day), and I can't figure out why you're upset at Tim and Brian.

I offered the best I have to offer, friendship, and got back a lecture. Same old open source bluster.

And later:

I've managed to piss him [Tim O'Reilly] off too.

From where I sit, both Brian and Tim come off as being extremely fair and reasonable. You can disagree with their views, which is fine, but why does it have to devolve into a "you're either with us or against us" kind of thing?
