I'm not sure that cookies are really gonna be viable for long documents... isn't there some limit on text you can stow in a cookie? Anyway I'm actually aiming for a web-app sort of thing, with remote file storage a la (the artist formerly known as) HalfBrain.

And your stuff looks good... it takes fortitude to keep writing DHTML for netscape 4. =^)
