hi mike, currently i have just been trying to render an outline xml file (or any other xml file) into a DHTML kind of navigation structure (example)

but now i have seen your code, i am convinced it should be done otherwise :-)

Have you tried storing the information in a cookie? ( i know that array's can be modified and stored in a cookie for later use, perhaps nice for my.userland.com)
