Well, oil shortage was never the problem anyway -- there is a gas shortage because the oil companies can't turn the oil into gasoline any faster (refineries are in major disrepair). Adding more oil doesn't help.

I agree that the choices allowed in those surveys are generally pretty crappy. CNN is worse, IMO, and even vote.com has some terrible word choices in votes.
