I use earthlink, and for the most part have had good luck with them. However, on my latest trip to New England their local access numbers refused to accept my username/password and I ended up using their 800 number, which costs $4 or $5 per hour. I was able to talk to a real tech/support person (eventually) who said I should not be having problems but they were never able to fix the problem so it ended up costing me money.
