Thanks to Dave for offering this web log service.

This is truly the beginning of a new way to self-publish on the web. No more barriers, no more need to learn crufty HTML, no more arcane upload commands. You just need to have a knack for a good story, and the rest happens automatically, courtesy of UserLand and Manila.
