As much as the author of that _ms_nbc article might wish it to be so, Netscape and the browser is far from dead and buried. When I moved here (engineering) from another division inside Netscape about 5 months ago, I found a thriving, energetic group of folks dedicated to making the best browser in the world. Not a hollow husk on the "arm" of a larger company.
