preference request - seeing more than one day in DG

Just like you can set an ETP page to display more than one day's worth of stuff, could it be possible to add to a user's pref the ability to see more than one day's worth of DG postings? Say perhaps seeing today's and yesterday's. Why? well I see lots of time where folks post close to midnight, and those posts get "lost" because noone was up then, and they are not in the next day's list.
