Napster -- Net Destabilizer?

A thoughtful article on the real meaning of Napster.Unfortunately for the recording industry, contrary to the article's claims, DRM (Digital Rights Management -- AKA copy protection) will not help them anymore. I don't think its possible to (a) outlaw MP3 and programs that create MP3 from CDs and (b) add-on a feature to all CDs in existence today to allow only DRM protected CDs to be played. The genie in this case *is* too far out of the bottle to be jammed back in by technology and legislation.
