Rob Glaser, CEO of Real: "What Napster has done is create a benchmark on how easy the legitimate music experience has to be. It's gotta be pretty darn close to that easy."

Rob's quote and the story from which it came motivated me to return to this thread. (BTW, some of Glaser's remarks seemed to lack clarity. Perhaps it's colloquial?)

David hit it on the head before Rob did. This is so simple. Be agnostic as to how the music arrives on the fan's hard drive. Just give them a way to easily purchase once it has.
