Oh, now I see what you're getting at.

Yes, I agree with you. His faith and for that matter, anyone else's (or lack of faith) should not be a factor and should not have been brought up.

It's the news media trying to stir up a story where none exists. As far as I know, he is a very credible candidate for the position.
