I find trying to follow a thread in Discuss.Userland with a web browser a pretty annoying experience. Not your fault, Dave, as it's really no worse than most of the other web discussion sites. ( See Jon Udell's article <http://software-carpentry.codesourcery.com/Groupware/report.html> for more discussion. The quicktopic discussion that article is linked to is a bit better, but it's probably not suited to higher traffic discussions. ) Is there an alternate interface into the discussion lists -- via RSS or XML or XML-RPC ? It might be interesting to experiment with a different presentation to the discussion list. --- Steve Majewski <sdm7g@Virginia.EDU>
