For an alternate look at the possible effects of mandatory copy protection devices like what Intel is proposing, look at "The Right to Read".

I say "mandatory" because it is entirely possible that you'll be able to opt-out of using Intel's feature about as easily as most people can opt-out of using Microsoft software.
