Why doesn't Microsoft release their own distribution of Linux? It's open source, of course, and they could just package it and put the MS logo on it.

Because then they would have to admit NT is not a universal panacea. They want you to use NT everywhere, and selling a Linux distro would remove attention from it.

Besides, can you imagine the support nightmare of explaining why Office97 doesn't work in MS Linux if they're BOTH by Microsoft?
