here's my first theory of how to add tags:1) modify one of the frontier rendering scripts (which one?) so that it renders naked urls as:
(and hope this doesn't break any browsers)
2) i don't use outline mode, so i'll probably tag the start and end of the 'linetext' with a code like '%%' and have the pageFilter replaceAll on it.
3) i'll put a single
- tag before my top item, and a
after the last one. then during step 2 (above) for the start of every linetext i'll use- there will be various untagged things-- pullquotes, secondary links, afterthoughts. i can tag these if i need to, but they're not entirely predictable-- I improvise all kinds of things, so will your parser just ignore that stuff?
and its 4) between each
so on the html-page each item will look like:
i liked this article: (format warnings)http:/url.com [source] [more-link]pullquote [pic] this is all ignored by the xml parser?
comment
also, i add new items in two places-- 'headlines' and 'main'. shall we skip the headlines altogether?
