I am going to rewrite sampleNewsSite.staticpage.defaultAndre, I found the problem, and its not in the sample. In trying to figure out another problem I had commented out the last time of code on the default page:
pta^.posttime = timelastupdate
and forgot to uncomment it. When I uncommented this things seem to function correctly. Will do more checking later, will post again if there is still any weirdness.
