I changed #calendarRootURL to news.root.default and I now get:

Sorry! There was an error: There is no folder or object database named "1999.root" in the folder "System:Frontier:Guest Databases:www:news:"

when clicking a calendar link. I created 199t.root to that directory and still get the same.
