I was thinking optional as well. It may be that content sources that don't feature headlines just plain aren't appropriate for a user agent like CHV. There's no reason why a single format couldn't support both types of content.
The only problem might be user confusion over which providers they can use with a restricted viewer like this.
Then again, maybe it could just show the links as a fallback if there's no title.
Compromise good.

There are responses to this message:

Headlining Compromise, Bradley Peters, 7/2/1999; 6:40:11 PM

Headlining Compromise, Bradley Peters, 7/2/1999; 6:40:27 PM

Re: A common syndication format?, Dan Libby, 7/7/1999; 1:36:12 PM

This page was archived on 6/13/2001; 4:51:11 PM.

© Copyright 1998-2001 UserLand Software, Inc.
