IP Disclaimer prior-art?

One of the people implementing XML-RPC has asked for a disclaimer of ownership by UserLand of the XML-RPC protocol.

So I put in a little time this morning looking for similar disclaimers.

I looked on W3C, IETF, and Ken MacLeod's LDO site.

I didn't find any disclaimers of intellectual property rights.

So my question is this, where is the prior-art for IP right disclaimers?
