Help! static rendering error

Heeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllp!

I have 2 problems with the new static rendering.

(1) I got this message when rendering the home page:

Sorry! There was an error: Can't split the URL because it is not of the form 'http://www.server.com/hello.html'. 
The error was detected by Frontier 6.1.1 in mainResponder.respond. Webmaster: jlim@natsoft.com.my. Time: Thu, 30 Mar 2000 05:59:46 GMT.

my folder for static rendering is: d:inetpubwwwrootstatic

my URL for rendering is: http://flipper/static/

my default page is: index.html

(2) I cannot change my default page to default.asp nor index.htm. It always reverts back to index.html when I submit the page.

Thanks for any help in advice.
