Is there a way of viewing the topic list for months other than the current one.

Also, i have noticed that if you go to a picture through the stories list or via your own navigation structure, none of the edit buttons for making a discussion topic a home page, or putting the discussion into a navigation position are available, but if you go through the discussion area, those option are available. Is this an oversight (i doubt it) or what is the reasoning? thanks.

And while i am here, where might i find the template information that controls the presentation of stories and the structure lists that make up navigation areas.
