Not only that you can _start the browser_ with your own app!netscape.exe -chrome [[some url ]]

This works in mac too, but you have to create a special text file whic contains the string and set it's creator to ns6.
Heh, imagine:
netscape.exe -chrome chrome://frontier/content/pike_in_mozilla.xul
