In the long run, all commodity software will be available with source and a free-use policy. Are you using the scientific method there, or your gut?
Where are the innovations? What new ideas has open source produced other than open source?
Where is the anectodal evidence for this theory?
It was clever to call it open source because people have a natural dislike for things that are closed.
What risks have you been willing to take to learn more about how this works? I put a labor of love of mine into open source. What are you willing to give up to learn more about this?
