In find this about as compelling as rejecting Python because it uses spacing to delineate the block structure.

In the end, he concludes that he won't use XHTML because he likes to have uppercase tag names and sloppy tag nesting. I certainly don't find that to be an eye-opener (although it might be, if he wanted me to hire him...)
