This is exactly why Office via Web will work. When you get down to it, most Office documents are just a collection of words with some font attributes attached. Moving that back and forth via the Web can be quick and the Office User Interface becomes just another Java'd menu bar at the top of your browser's window.Yes, for power users, this will be unacceptable, but ask yourself honestly. Out of 10 average office workers, how many of them actually use 20% of the utility available in Microsoft Word? Most of the people I know didn't even realize that Word has an outline mode. Not that it's the greatest, but it's there.
