There are several alternatives, actually:* You could use Mozilla which has an embedding capability so that you could edit HTML on any platform.
* You can use any number of HTML-capable platform independent GUI toolkits such as Tk, WXWindows, Qt, ...
Also: what programming language will the client side software use to communicate with the server?
