Just FYI, the GIMP is a fully-scriptable Linux image manipulation app that has a surprising amount of Photoshop-style functionality. And it's free, both in terms of price and source. It was originally developed under X11 on UN*X platforms, but there actually are OS/2 and win32 ports under development. More info at www.gimp.org...
