The perl version is done...

You can see the XML output there, the headers are in place, save the date stamps... Any suggestions on how to get a creation date if you're querying the file over the network? I can only get a modification date that way...

The output on the site was pulled in over an HTTP connection and parsed with the parser...

You'll need perl5, and the LWP and HTTP libraries from CPAN.
