I'd love to run a radio station. Can you make it easy for me to do that, and at the same time preserve key elements of your business model?

I was thinking the same thing this weekend, how cool Scripting News radio could be. I looked at Shoutcast and Icecast, which provide the technology to start a web radio station, but they don't mention anything at all about permissions and copyright.

I looked some more today, and found a message pointing to an ASCAP web-site license for $264 per year (plus a percentage of the revenues from the web-site).
